Andrew Pierce, Ashley Hudson and their Hamburg community knew that they would never go back. Ashley was only 17 and had never had a relationship in a relationship with another man before. They began the romance extremely slowly. It was obvious that they loved each other from the very the first sight. Andrew asked God one final item to do on New Year's Day right before 2016and that was when Ashley agreed to marry him. Ashley wanted to design a wedding with a folk woodland theme. This would truly represent her as well as Andrew. The couple combined their favorite items for their wedding. Ashley was a child on the 40-acre property that was chosen for the wedding venue. From the trail they walked down to the field they said "I do" in Ashley had explored and played around on it. Andrew, Ashley and their friends had already walked in this area several times when they began to date. Because the wedding was almost entirely DIY, personalization was a big part. Andrew and Ashley's father built the seating area and the arch used for the wedding ceremony. Ashley painted many of the decors. Ashley says that with Anna's stunning floral design the wedding would not have been as magical and romantic as I had imagined. Absolutely stunning.
